CR HOPE Foundation Announces Strategic Partnership with FXPesa to Strengthen Education in Kizimkazi, Zanzibar

CR HOPE & KARA Foundation is proud to announce a strategic partnership with FXPesa, powered by Equiti Group, to strengthen access to quality education for children in Kizimkazi village, Zanzibar.

Through this collaboration, FXPesa is supporting the continued growth and stability of Seeds of Light School, operated by CR HOPE & KARA Foundation, which currently serves 180 students aged 3 to 13 and employs 13 local teachers.

In a community where access to early childhood and primary education has historically been limited, this partnership ensures that children have a safe, structured and sustainable learning environment while reinforcing the resources and operational stability required for long term impact.

The support contributes to:

  • Funding essential school operations
  • Strengthening educational infrastructure
  • Providing learning materials and classroom resources
  • Supporting teacher development and continuity
  • Ensuring stability for families who rely on the school

Renos Fountoulakis, Founder of CR HOPE & KARA Foundation, commented:

‘This partnership represents more than financial support. It reflects a shared belief that education is the foundation for dignity, opportunity and long term transformation. In Kizimkazi, education is not simply about literacy. It is about hope, confidence and building a future that once felt out of reach.’

Seeds of Light School was established to serve children from underserved families in Kizimkazi, where public education facilities remain stretched and resources limited. Over the years, the school has grown into a community anchor, supporting not only students but also families and local educators.

FXPesa’s contribution aligns with CR HOPE & KARA Foundation’s mission to combine education, community empowerment and sustainable development into one integrated model. The collaboration ensures that impact is sustained and generational.

By strengthening local systems rather than replacing them, this partnership demonstrates how private sector engagement and grassroots initiatives can work together to create measurable and lasting change.

CR HOPE & KARA Foundation looks forward to deepening this collaboration and continuing to build a future where every child in Kizimkazi has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
