Feeding The Nation On The Random Act Of Kindness Day

Don’t you think it is amazing when a whole nation unites and decides to celebrate something as essential as kindness by being generous and doing good to one another? We thought it was an excellent idea and decided to celebrate this year’s Random Act of Kindness Day in collaboration with Food ATM and Dubai English Speaking College!

While most of our work includes interactions with children, we recognize that adults’ livelihood and prosperity are just as important for everyone’s well-being. This is why on February 17th 2020, we have participated in the “Gift Meal” Campaign, and we are glad to announce that together with our wonderful partners and collaborators – Food ATM and DESC – we have distributed 200 free meals to the workers in the Dubai Academic City Labor Camps!

We are extremely happy to have participated in such a wonderful initiative. We hope such events will help us teach children at our Seeds of Light School and other projects the true value of hard work and resilience, as well as the importance of recognizing the efforts of others.

All too often we might forget just how hard it is to make our daily lives as convenient and comfortable as they are nowadays – and we should always do our best to remember that we owe this convenience to those around us. Thus, we believe such events are doubly effective – spreading kindness and helping those, who need us the most, as well as paying our respect to and celebrating the people, who make our lives easier every single day.

Once again, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Food ATM and Dubai English Speaking College, as well as everyone who donated their time and resources to this wonderful campaign! Let’s make sure that every day turns into the Random Act of Kindness Day – together, we can do it!
