Growing Even Larger: CR HOPE Partners Up with Night of the Mask

CR HOPE Foundation is glad to welcome on board the Night of the Mask โ€“ an exclusive luxury masquerade ball held annually in Dubai promoting and fundraising for the philanthropy causes among its highly esteemed attendees.

Many could say that in our time and age, chivalry is dead. Perhaps, the era of gorgeous dresses, smart tuxedoes, and exquisite table etiquette has forever been replaced with a ubiquitous pair of white sneakers. While this might be a popular opinion, our latest partner begs to differ. Night of the Mask (NOTM) is a grandiose night of luxury, magnificent transformations, and elegant attendees aimed at revitalizing the long-forgotten art of classical yet inspiring entertainment. The event is also used as a platform to drive change and this yearโ€™s beneficiary is no one else but us, CR HOPE Foundation! Together, we are hoping to gather resources to support the operations of our school Seeds of Light in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The very first NOTM edition in Dubai was inspired by a similar event in Versailles and held back in 2018. Despite its relatively short history, the masquerade has already managed to engage in a socially responsible cause. Three years ago, NOTM was attracting its attendeesโ€™ attention to the school for children with special needs, specifically those with autism.

In the words of the NOTM Founder, Tara Hughes, โ€œChildrenโ€™s welfare has always been something that is close to my heart because I had a child who passed when I was in a dark time of my life, and nobody helped. Nevertheless, giving is something that was deeply inculcated to me while growing up too. I am an advocate for knowledge and education especially for kids because they are the ones who will continue our legacy and make it even greater.โ€

From the depth of hearts, we at CR HOPE thank Tara and the rest of the Night of the Mask team for contributing to our mutual cause, for the devotion to making the lives of the Zanzibari little ones better, and for unshakeable faith in impacting the world around us in a positive manner. Thanks to organizations like this, we can continue working and making sure that children from underprivileged backgrounds get the opportunities every single kid deserves.

About Night of the Mask:

Night of the Mask is a grand masquerade ball wherein guests attend in costumes related to the theme of the night with a matching mask which is worn throughout the ball. It is a traditional social event highlighting heritage, arts, fashion, and music dating back to the 14th century, and a part of Europe’s popular carnival season which was then adapted, culminated, and celebrated by key cities all over the world like Venice in Italy, Paris, and Versailles in France, Monte Carlo in Monaco, New YorkCity and Los Angeles in the USA, and now in Dubai. It is also used as a platform to promote a range of philanthropical causes with an auction included in the program of the event.
