CR HOPE Foundation Celebrates New Partnership with Original People

We are excited to announce that one more company, Original People, has officially joined us in the efforts to provide a better future for the children of Zanzibar through education!

Original People, a Spanish-based firm producing customized multi-purpose stickers, has officially included CR HOPE Foundation into their CSR initiative and has pledged to help us reach our fundraising goal of $85,000 by the end of 2019 through the means of monthly donations, as well as numerous awareness campaigns. We at CR HOPE are grateful for such a commitment and hope that together we will be able to open our school for the first class of kids in the beginning of 2020.

In the words of Fredrik Svensson, CEO: โ€œOriginal People have always supported different nongovernmental/non-profit organizations and had CSR projects running. We really want to make a difference and help people less fortunate, and we prefer to collaborate with small organizations that work locally and are engaged in the area where the help is needed. Therefore, we think CR HOPE is such an interesting organization to support.โ€

Mia Svensson, marketing manager, adds: โ€œWe are also planning to go to Zanzibar to help building the school. Maybe we will go during the Christmas break with our two sons. It would be an amazing experience for the four of us. And of course, we would bring clothes, toys etc. with us.โ€

Once again, weโ€™d like to thank Original People for their dedication and commitment, and we are looking forward to putting smiles on the faces of children together!

About Original People

Original People was founded in 2013 in Spain. The founders are a Swedish couple that moved to Spain with a vision to introduce family car stickers to the European market, which they had seen a lot of while on a road trip in the US. The stickers aim to remind people to keep a proper distance between the cars in a fun and engaging way. What truly sets Original People apart is their vision to engage students in the production and provide work for young people. For the moment the company employs about 12 students and is planning on providing more jobs to the youth. For more information about the company, please visit www.originalpeople.com.
